Gavin Bimbra is the founder and lead licensed plumber of PlumbCare. He is a proud born and raised Hamiltonian and lives with his young family in Stoney Creek. Skilled trades run in the veins of the Bimbra family over multiple generations. Gavin’s grandfather was a skilled machinist for the English military in the 1940s, and his father is a skilled machinist in Stoney Creek. These values inspired Gavin and led him to complete his own apprenticeship in the field of plumbing. He is one of few to have passed his certification exam on the first attempt.
Prior to founding PlumbCare, Gavin serviced residents across Southern Ontario for the past 10 years working with leading plumbing firms. His apprenticeship was thorough, and he learned from exceptional plumbers with extensive knowledge. Gavin repeatedly observed that plumbing companies had issues with approachability and customer satisfaction. It was a sincere desire to ensure that clients received a positive and warm experience that led him to launch PlumbCare.
Gavin also holds a Diploma in Law and Security Administration from Mohawk College and a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and was chosen for the highly selective Plumber Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program at Mohawk College at the onset of his plumbing career.
